Folsom Preparatory School -

Ms. Dorvin joined Folsom Prep’s faculty in August of 2022 after moving from her home state of Louisiana to California. She is in her 34th year as an elementary teacher. She has experience in teaching various grade levels and subjects from kindergarten through eighth grade. She has also taught in a classroom of English as a second language learners and served as a reading specialist to multiple grades. Ms. Dorvin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education, a Masters of Education in curriculum and instruction, a reading specialist certification, and an English as a Second Language certification. She is a passionate teacher who found her calling and is very proud of her chosen profession.  For fun, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing with her dogs, spending time with her husband, and exploring nature.
